Geocache Description:

Penllech RR2, overlooking Penllech Beach.

Penllech RR2 is a rock cache, situated on the Coastal Walk on the west coast of the LLeyn Peninsula over looking the beautiful Penllech Beach. The cache is placed on a grassy bank litterd with large rocks & stones. Please note the cache is not hidden and no stones or material need to be disturbed. Or the bank need not to be climbed on. In the Cache there are some gifts, a travel bug (TB495W8)a First To Find badge and a small log book. Penllech relates to the area - see if you can work out what RR2 relates to. From this vantage point if you look out to sea with binoculars you may be lucky to spot RR2! Log it online or write it in the log. To start your search you can start from a choice of two car parks. Car Park 1 BG SH20609 34099 or Car Park 2, Porth Colmon BG SH 19482 34250. Car Park 1 takes you down to Penllech Beach. Enjoy the walk & the find!
Please note Ogof Huw John Fychan is close by but do not atempt to visit from here or vise versa as the cliffs are too steep you must return to the Coastal Path or beach. Please make a note of the high tides as some of the Coastal walk on the beach can get cut off.
