An black tape covered peanut butter jar holding some nice cache swag along with log book and pen, a FTF micro Geocoin and originally a ghost geocoin, as there may be a few ghosts around the old museum. There is a story that lingers that one person was hung in the court house!
The Guysborough Historical Society welcomes you to the Old Court House Museum in beautiful seaside Guysborough. The court house was built in 1843 and served as the area's court facilities until the mid 1970's. It now holds numerous artifacts, displays, and genealogical information for the Guysborough area; as well as selling a number of books and merchandise on Guysborough's history. If you visit the cache during between June and October, please come in to the museum.
