Meggie Girl's Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is a dog’s cache specifically for dogs and their owners to visit and hopefully trade some cool toys and other dog-related items. Please do not take anything from the cache if you're not trading anything.

Be careful of Poison Ivy in the area. Where the cache is we didn’t see any, but there was a considerable amount near the trails in several locations. In other words, don’t let your dog or yourself run through the bushes. :)

Meggie Girl’s Cache was placed in honor of our dog, Megan, who passed away at 12 years of age in March 2011. We chose this location because Carver Pond was one of her favorite places to run and play in Massachusetts.

You’re looking for an ammo can. Please be sure to camouflage it very, very carefully before you leave.

At the time of placement the cache contained:

• Collapsible water and food bowl set (perfect for Geocaching with your pup)
• Camouflage squeaky toy
• Pet alert window clings
• 2 Pet-ables tennis balls
• 4 rolls of pet waste bags
• Cachekinz Dog Tag trackable (Not activated)

All items we placed in the cache are new and we hope you’ll follow our lead when choosing items you want to place in the cache. Please do not take anything from the cache if you're not trading anything.

Also, we encourage you to leave in the cache a photo of your dog or attach a photo when logging your find on Geocaching.com. We even placed a Ziploc bag in the cache for that purpose; it’s the bag labeled "Photos." :)
