Geocache Description:

Ok here is another in the Stoned in Kilmarnock series.
.
This one is on rough ground so not for buggies or wheelchairs.
.
Stealth required for this one as it is very close to the main road.

In the early 1800's this area was undeveloped farm land. In the late 1800's various recreational and industrial facilties sprng up. These included a bowling green, tennis courts, cricket grounds and also the Glenfield Engineering Works and the Netherton Iron Works.
It was only recently that the area saw another major change with the arrival of a cinema, fast food outlets and a large supermarket.
.
Now for the cache, Look for a gate, it seems to have no purpose nor reason, I am sure it did once upon a time, but now it leads nowhere, doesn't even open. Its a well disguised plastic tube.
