This 2-stage multi-cache is on the Eglin AFB Reservation in the Timberlake Bike Trail Recreation area. Hiking from parking area/Ranger Trailhead and back will cover about 3/4 mile on the Gator Alley and Stinky Creek mountain bike trails. 1st and 2nd stages are short distances off trail, and involve some bushwacking with thorns, vines, and ticks. Recommend closed toed footwear. **NOTE** Hikers must yield right of way to cyclists.
The 1st stage cache contains the 2nd stage coords. The 2nd stage cache contains a log and small trade items. BYOP. Please return both caches to their hiding places as found. **NOTE** Since this multi-cache is on the Eglin AFB Reservation, a permit granting you legal access is required to seek and find ANY cache on the Eglin AFB Reservation!!! You must have this permit and it must be in your possession as they will check. You can get an outstanding map with the year-long Recreational Permit (valid from Oct 1 thru Sept 30 each year). You can buy your permit from the "Jackson Guard" either in person or by mail (send a copy of your driver's license).
