Good drive by family cache in one of Auckland's best suburban parks.
This was our first cache hide. We wanted to place it somewhere within our neighbourhood so that we could keep a regular eye on it. We spend a lot of time in and around Grey Lynn park so it seemed like the logical location.
We placed it on a day that was poring down with rain. There was hardly anyone else around. However, the park is very popular so we spent a bit of time finding a location that was reasonably well covered and not too much out in the open.
The cache is approximately 40 metres down one of the park's many walkways off one of its bordering streets. It has been hiden only 1.5 metres off the concret walkway.
You are looking for a camoed green 500 ml screw top container. The cache has a log book, pencil and enough space for a few small items. Please re hide and look out for Muggles.
