Geocache Description:

A small cache close to one entry into Nerang State Forest.

A cache to start the walk into the forest. Best parking is in Rokeby Ct. This was the first of what was planned to be a series of caches leading up to the peteorth caches in memory of WW1 battles but since the change in State government policy that may not be possible.

Even if you don't want climb the hill you can still have fun in the forest. Perhaps the younger (or older!) members of your team may be content to do the first part of the walk.

This would be a good cache for small military pins, or geocoins. It should be waterproof. The cache has been relocated from its original position (after being discovered by the enemy). Now camouflaged it is hiding in a tree quite close to the old site. There is no need to remove it, just unscrew the lid to get at the vital log.

This is a cache with the intent to think respectfully of lost soldiers in terrible wars. I would hope that your logs would keep that in mind. There is no place here for obscenities. Sadly some people have not shown that respect and logs have had to be deleted.
