Geocache Description:

Pleasant footpaths between Atherton, Leigh and Tyldesley were home to more of these caches, unfortunately most have been lost leaving just the two ninjas. The caches are all close to an established, sometimes muddy, footpath.

Terrain is quite flat, this cache is just off the path. Due to persistant muggling this cache is now a 35mm film canister located with a view along both ends of the path. Please bring your own pen. Please take extra care when retreiving and hiding this cache.

The series is located in an area located between Howe Bridge, Atherton, Tyldesley and Leigh.

Some of the caches are located along the path of the old Eccles, Tyldesley and Wigan Rail line and the short branch to Chanters Colliery. All of which are long gone with nothing other than footpaths following the old lines and an industrial estate where the colliery once stood. Crossing Millers Lane, which runs between black ninja and white ninja is the remains of a roman road, good luck spotting it.
