Geocache Description:

Madelia Minnesota Veteran's Memorial.

There is no need to move anything, pull on anything, or otherwise alter anything in the park!

EPMinnesota and I were on a roadtrip when we stumbled upon this great Veteran's park. We noticed it does not have a cache, so we figured we had better place one! Please be respectful of this park, and the veterans who are honored here.

The Veterans Memorial is located at the corner of Main St. and Benzel Ave. in Madelia, MN.

Madelia lost a young man in battle the beginning of June, 2011. At the time we hid this cache, there was a temporary memorial to him inside the gazebo. THE CACHE IS NOT HIDDEN INSIDE THIS MEMORIAL. Read about Emilio Campo Jr. HERE
