Geocache Description:

This cache is in the town of Searsport. It is at the parking area for the Probert Memorial Forest. The cache is an easy park and grab. There are trails for walking in the summer or cross country skiing in the winter. It is a small round camo topped container. Please cover it back as found to keep it safe.

This woodland was donated by Bruce and Joan Probert in 2007. It is a 175 acre tract that they have no plans to harvest at this time. It is managed by SWOAM which is the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine. Another of the many small recreational use areas that this state has to offer. The intent was to keep this land open for recreational use for years to come.
