Geocache Description:


This cache is hidden near the University of Florida's Beef Teaching Unit.

The Beef Teaching Unit is a 65-acre farm that includes a commercial 100-head feedyard and a 35-head cow herd of various types, sizes, and production ability. Charolais, Angus, Red Angus, Gelbvieh, Hotlander, Braunvieh, Brahman, and Brangus bulls.

Not only will you see cattle here, but during the winter, the Sandhill Cranes (and an occasional Whooping Crane) flock here in the hundreds.

It's quite the site!
