A stroll through the little town of Isafjörður. Should take about an hour. You will have a great view over the town at the final!
This is a multi cache with five (5) stages. They will take you to various buildings and sites within the town of Isafjörður, and you will have to answer some questions.
Stage 1:) N 66°04.221 W 23°07.323
This is also a good parking spot. You will also see some signs pointing in different directions. Find the sign with the longest single word on it. Multiply the sixth (6.) letter's position in the alphabet (e.g. A = 1, B = 2...) with 3, and you get C D.
Stage 2:) N 66°04.295 W 23°07.178
This is an old building which had once a different function than today. Count the words on the building, and you get A.
Stage 3:) N 66°04.392 W 23°07.119
Find the plaque and the two dates on it. The checksum of both is E F.
Stage 4:) N 66°04.422 W 23°07.165
What function does the building have? You get G.
Police station = 7
Hospital = 1
Cinema = 5
Stage 5:) N 66°04.542 W 23°07.542
The monument has two plaques; find the one at the right hand side, looking in Northern direction. The text contains two numbers. Divide the small number by the first two digits of the large one. This results in B.
FINAL: N 66°0A.BCD W 23°07.EFG
The final location is somewhat further away from the other stages. The best option is to drive there, although you COULD take the bus to the airport and walk from there. You will have a magnificent view over the whole town!
