This is the place where we found our first cache. An easy P&G with a large selection of swag. Hopefully, the surprise is fun for you.
In your log, we would like to hear about your first cache experience. Ours was just about 2 years ago when my wonderful wife bought me a GPS for Father's Day. The next day I joined geocaching.com and loaded in my first coordinates for a cache that was near here. We jumped in the car and drove to GZ. Being new, I thought the GPS would lead us directly to the cache with little or no effort on our part. Oops. We arrived to 95 degree heat and no breeze. After standing still for five minutes and not getting anywhere with my new GPS, my crew lost interest and started complaining. "Let's go home." "I hate this." "Geocaching is stupid." Defeated, I returned home and literally dropped the unit in the trash...then I logged in again and noticed there were things called hints. Hmmm....it said to look up, not down. "Let's go back crew!!" Upon returning, we found the cache in less than one minute and we haven't stopped loving the hunts since. It was a rough start, but we have had a lot of great family moments on the trail and we are hooked on caching now.
