The Harbor Patrol Public beach is a little-known gem, and is "home-port" to cache's namesake.
1901 Bayside Dr. Public beach parking in 11 clearly marked spaces, 0600-2200 daily. Park elsewhere at your own risk, but there IS a nice bicycle rack for the two-wheelers. Nice little beach suitable for small kids, great views, sand volleyball court, several picnic tables, restrooms, even a public shower or two to go with the public docks. Long list of "no-no's" however, like dogs, fires, etc, etc. Extensive display of your taxpayer $$ at work, might as well include a few geocachers! How many times can one say...it's NICE!
