The cache is located on SH1 at Greta Valley. There is good carparking and should be an easy park and grab.
For 10 years the building nearby with its rooftop FUNK & JUNK signage has served the local community and passing public with second hand goods. The owners have sold the property and were having a clearance sale in June 2011.
To mark the occassion a 200ml sistema container is hidden nearby. It has a logbook pencil & stashnote.
I remember previous occassions when I stopped here and had a wander through the premises. I don't recall buying anything but it was always good to spot items with a lot of history.
When I stopped today I spotted two snow shovels and thought they would be ideal for moving liquification in Christchurch.
When you log this cache your experience in a junk shop would be worth noting.
