Geocache Description:

I placed this cache in memory of my Dad, Richard "Muskrat" Buenzow for fathers day.

My dad passed away January 26, 2007 from cancer after knowing he had it for 2 weeks.

He was a huge outdoorsman hence the nickname "Muskrat". He has taught me everything I know about hunting, fishing, trapping, camping and anything outdoors. He also was a tinkerer that always came up with ideas and knew how to build or create things. I was able to introduce him to geocaching and he seemed to enjoy it as it was something to do outdoors. My dad was also on the planning committee for the new "Grump" bike trail that you are on today.

My dad is buried in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemtery which runs next to the bike trail. You will know when you find his headstone by not only his name abviously on it but the design on it.

I miss him everyday and wanted to pay tribute to him along one of his projects he worked for. Bring your own pencil. Enjoy!!
