A quick park and grab.
This brook was used for many years to power the industry that was in the vacant lot across the brook. The Kempton brothers had a mill that started off making wagons and skis. The wagons were well respected, as they were known to track very well. When the market for wagons slowed down, they switched to making prefabricated churches at the mill. all of the parts would be sawn out, and bundled up, placed on a ship in the harbour and sent mainly to New England.
