Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Bremerton Gateway Series, Part 3. We finally made it to the End or Beginning (depending on your transportation into town)of this tour. This is the last cache of the series that gets you to the downtown end of the Gateway and it's guarded by someone special, a local "Rosie, The Riveter". She was chosen to represent The PSNS Memorial Plaza. The Plaza is dedicated to The Men and Women of the Trades that support the shipyard.

This cache is placed with permission and knowledge of the City of Bremerton Parks Dept., so if anyone asks just tell them what you are doing. The person in charge knows where and what it is so there would be no confusion.

Also, please do not go anywhere near the large black fence or look suspicious to bystanders. Shipyard security will not like anyone touching the fence. The cache has been placed with their knowledge so please use caution around this area so the cache can continue to stay here. I really don't want to move it to a boring location and try to rename it.

Therefore, We tried to hide this in a suitable location to deal with muggles watching your every move. There is 1 hour parking nearby if you are lucky, or 3 hour parking on the next street over in case you want to park on this end and walk or bike to the other caches. Otherwise, you will need to park near one of the other caches and take the walk(bike). Of course, there is seating available here to rest your weary legs and feet from all the walking(bicycling) and take a break. The cache location will enable you to see the water fountains, which are lit at night. Please make sure to replace cache log, container back the way you found it so the muggles don't notice it.

PLEASE replace the lid securely and completely to insure water resistance.

The area is wheelchair accessible but not where the cache is located, unless you can do wheelies and jump large curbs.

We hope you enjoyed hunting for all the caches and this park area downtown...If you haven't been here lately, stroll on down the road toward the all the hustle and bustle at the ferry and the main gate to see all the new transformation when you get a chance.
Don't forget the downtown shops and you will also see cool artwork on display. There is a new restaurant/bar near the ferry, too.

Remember to get all the clues from the caches so you can find the final.

Special Thanks goes to Ice and Wind, MR. Cressman, and MR. Hurlbut for their permission that made the location of this cache possible.
