This cache is one placed while kayaking on Folsom Lake/Rattlesnake Bar area. Though I placed it while kayaking, you can get to this site from the trails in the area .... with a little bushwacking.
The day this was placed was one of many kayaking trips with the Nor-Cal Geo-Paddlers. The group set out from Rattlesnake Bar and headed upstream. While we were in route to another nearby cache (visit link) for a possible FTF. We found out that it was L3-Geo's 28th anniversary and Doc's Birthday. Well that did it! I had to place a cache in their honor! Funny thing was, this was the 18th of June and the 18th cache in my Kayak series...couldn't plan that any better. So, here it is.
Cache is a small container. Large enough for a log sheet and some small items. Cache site is accessible from land but by water would give you a much easier time. Please replace it as you found it so the rest may enjoy the hide as intended. Hazzards include SNAKES, TICKS, STICKERS and PO....and if your access is from the water, BIGGER BOATS that always seem to want to play, "Swamp the Kayaker"
