This is the inaugural offering in a “Field of Dreams” cache sequence. Inspired by the “E.T.” series in Nevada it employs the proven adage “if you place them, they will come”. Unlike the famous “E.T.” the lack of linear roadways will make it a challenge to efficiently navigate this growing cache field, in fact I have lived in this area for 10 years and find the twisting labyrinth of roads difficult to navigate. While a non mapping GPS will still yield a high find rate when this field is fully seeded, a mapping GPS is a plus.
There is one other difference from the “E.T.” that ise noteworthy. These caches are going to be of multiple types of hides. They will range in difficulty and configuration as I can develop containers. Look for me to honor some of my favorite finds by copying thier containers and placement philosophy.
The process of fully developing and planting this cache field will take time and a bit of effort but I hope to make it an enjoyable experience that will attract cachers to this beautiful area in which I am fortunate to call my home.
