A trip to the islands Traditional Geocache
Mushroom finder: Jackson County says this one has to go because it is in an "unsafe location". I'm guessing it's because some chose to walk on the ice, which is not allowed in the park.

OK, so it's not white sands and palm trees, but hey, this is the midwest so we'll take what we can get. To reach this isle of urban paradise you will need a boat (although it may be possible to reach by foot at certain times of the year). If you have a canoe or kayak that can be hand launched, I recommend parking at N. 39.0015 W.94.3103
This cache was placed to commemorate my 100th find. This is a fun little spot and I'm sure if you bring your catfish pole along you can put it to good use out here. Happy caching!
