A nice easy cache taking in the views of Bruton's Dovecote from the outskirts of Jubilee Park.
CONGRATULATIONS to Sean for the FTF.. even if he did have a heads up on the fact id placed one nearby!
The cache is a small clip lock box which contains a log book, 2x mini gel pens and a few swaps. (As there are so many micro's in the area!!)
You will find it very near to the football pitch/children's playground in Jubilee Park so is a high muggle area... be on your guard!
On to the history..
The Dovecote is 16th Century and is now managed by the Stourhead Estate (National Trust).
There is a great view of the Dovecote from the cache and you can walk up to it and all the way round it. (Watch out for the cows in Summer!)
