Nowhere near a rainforest but my friend who is the keeper of this lake once lived with her family in the lush rainforest in Haiku on the island of Maui. A Heiau (Hey Ow) is a Hawaiian temple that closely resembles the nearby structure. Take time to enjoy this beautiful part of the Oregon Coast.
