A lot of these old dams were used to supply water for the fire hydrants in the town below. Do not know if this one of them.
To get here, you need to go on the "old M26" and access an old road. The road starts at N 47 04.028 W088 38.922 The road starts ok, At the split, go to the right. I've been informed in a post that the road in has now been blocked off. What you drive is no longer an issue, as it's now walking time... A note... This road can be used to find the Brain Hill cache. With the gate and sign on the bottom of the hill some cachers (I was one of them) are hesitant to cross the gate to find the cache. For those who don't want to break the law, you can access Brain Hill from this road, just keep going up..
