This memorial was erected in honor of David and Merritt Hine the first settlers of Hines Corners in the year 1811. The memorial was placed by thier decendants on August 9,1925
The geonavigator and I were out grabing some smileys when we passed this place the navigator stoped the car and said we should place a cache here and it happened that I had bought a log with me so we put together a container and now there are 2 smileys to get,, be carefull where you park this place can get busy in the summer.
