(See "Related Web Page" link for map of hiking trails, etc for this area.)
Located at approximately 1765m elevation. This cache will require an overnight stay at Circlet Lake.
Circlet Lake is approximately 13km from the trailhead parking at Raven Lodge. The trail from Raven Lodge to Circlet Lake is maintained, but can be rough and muddy. From Circlet Lake follow the signs guiding you up to Mt. Albert Edward, which will take you up to the ridge where there are small cairns along the way, marking the trail to Mt. Albert Edward and on to Mt. Frink and Castlecrag.
From here you can continue on around behind Castlecrag and follow the trail to Moat Lake, and back to Circlet Lake, or return the way you came.
** PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WEATHER CONDITIONS AT THIS ELEVATION CAN CHANGE QUICKLY, AND ENSURE YOU ARE ACCORDINGLY PREPARED! **
** Please be aware that there are BC Parks back-country camping fees in effect for overnight stays. The fee is currently $10/night per adult and $5/night per child aged 6-15. (2011)
These fees can be paid at the trailhead at Raven lodge or a pass can be purchased online at: (visit link)
