Geocache Description:

A fun, relatively easy find at the beginning of the Napali Coast on the western coast of Kauai. Where majestic unparalleled views can be seen of the gorgeous Napali Coast.

Once the highway ends, you will have to take a long dirt road to the beach (about 5.2 miles). 4WD is a must for this very bumpy road. Stay to the right at the fork at the road and continue until you reach the beach. Keep right again past the structure with a roof. Go to the top of the small mountain and look for the trail that begins by the 2 small boulders. go down this trail and through the vegetation back up the small hill until you reach a big boulder. Look behind the big boulder for the cache! *** Important note: This area contains many thorns, be careful to wear protective shoes. Thorns will go right through the bottoms of thin sandals. Also, GPS tracking in this area tends to be tricky and as such coordinates can jump so please search the area carefully. ***

This spot offers some of the best views of the Napali Coast that are available on the whole island! I've been accompanying a good friend who has been geocaching for a few years, and decided its time to start using caches to help visitors find the best scenic spots on our beautiful island! This is one of my favorite spots on the island unknown to most visitors, but loved by all who find it!
