The place is Soroksar, a water tower in manor Peteri. This is a
Traditional Cache, 13x14x4 cm-sized kitchen plastic box.
A helyszín Soroksár, a Péteri majorban található víztorony. Ez egy hagyományos
geoláda, 10x14x3,5 cm méretu konyhai muanyag doboz.
I invite you to Budapest capital-protected local water tower in the manor Péteri of district Soroksar, to this kind of special architectural creation.
The Agricultural and Industrial Complex Building Design Company is managed and built it between 1952-1955. It represents the memory intact of the rapidly developing industrial and agricultural architecture of an important era in the masonry structure (built from bricks) tower building "peaks". Shortly after building of this tower the construction of reinforced concrete and metal structure made water towers completely squeezed out of "this old fashion". It still continues to perform its function. The appearance is of a functional style and substance. The walling way, the structure is well marked, as an industrial monument is instructive.
Nearby is the Soroksári Botanical Garden, which is freely accessible, with minimal admission fee. The Botanical Garden is under protection of the capital city since 1977. It is a good possibility to find out the geocache (GCbotk/GC1355F) associated with Botanical Garden (visit link)

By bus:
Use Bus No 166 from Gubacsi street (Soroksar), or get on at Ferihegy Airport Terminal I. train station. Get off at "Peteri major" stop. The distance from here to the cache is 830 m.(Please see the Timetable of BKV bus No 166 on website:

By car:
From Budapest 18th district center, Pestszentimre (Street crossing: Nagykorösi út - Nemes utca - Dózsa György út) drive 2,5 km SW and turn right, you get at Parking Place and Water Tower.
From 'Hosok tere' of Soroksar the distance is 4,5 km on
the street Templom/ and Vecses.
The Parking place and the Water tower is located: N47 23.340 E19 09.738 114 m
By bicycle:
Follow the same route as given for car. By this way the route is much more interesting and recommended to use bicycle.
The cache:
This is a Traditional Cache, 13x14x4 cm-sized kitchen
plastic box. It is hidden in the brush area close to the water tower.
Please do not send any pictures about the method of hiding.

Fovárosi helyi védelem alatt álló víztoronyhoz, a Soroksári Péteri majorba invitállak benneteket, ehhez a maga nemében különleges építészeti alkotáshoz. A Mezogazdasági és Ipari Komplex Épülettervezo Vállalat gondozásában, 1952-1955 között épült, a gyorsan fejlodo ipari-mezogazdasági építészet egyik jelentos
korszakának, a falazott szerkezetu toronyépítés
'csúcsidoszakának' épségben megmaradt emléke. Nem
sokkal megépülése után, a vasbeton és fémszerkezetu víztornyok teljesen kiszorították ezt a technológiát a 'divatból'.
Funkcióját jelenleg is változatlanul ellátja. Megjelenése funkcionális és anyagszeru. Falazásmódja, szerkezete jól szembetuno, ipari muemlékként feltétlenül tanulságos.
A közelben található a Soroksári Botanikus Kert, amely szabadon látogatható, min. belépo díj ellenében. A Botanikus Kert 1977 óta áll fovárosi védettség alatt. Egyúttal a hozzátartozó geoláda (GCbotk/GC1355F)

Busszal: 166-os busszal Gubacsi út megállótól, vagy

Budapest 18. kerület Pestszentimre központtól (Nagykorösi út - Nemes utca - Dózsa György utca keresztezodés) a Dózsa György utcán DNy irányban 2,5 km-re található a víztorony. A
Soroksári Hosök terétol/Templom utcától 4,5 km a távolság a Templom utca, Vecsés úton haladva.
A víztorony és elotte a Parkoló: N47 23.340 E19 09.738 114 m.
Kerékpárral: Ugyanaz az út mint autóval, csak sokkal érdekesebb és ajánlott is.
A láda:
13x14x4 cm méretu muanyag doboz, a víztorony melletti fás részen elrejtve.
