This a small cache located inside the boundry of Brite Lake Aquatic Recreation Area. There is room in the cache for samll trades. The cache is an easy find, but getting to it may be a slight challenge for some because you can't drive right to it.
Brite Lake is one of my favorite summer destinations because it is always at least ten degrees cooler than Tehachapi Valley. You can camp, fish, picnic, bike ride, or take a stroll around the lake. There is a five dollar fee at the gate, but according to the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District, it's free to just walk. All they ask is that you fill out an envelope at the entrance and write on the envelope that you are there to walk so the caretaker knows what you're doing. The lake is open year round. Have fun and bring some water and sturdy shoes with you.
