The cache is placed near one of the many hiking roads in the area

park at the farm and enter the woods where the sign says
Hærstøl
and Krøgle.
For 10 000 år siden låg det en 2 kilometer tykk is over
Heddan.
Gardens historie begynner da isen smeltet, formet dalen og la

10 000 years ago, a 2 km thick layer of ice covered the
region.
History commends when the ice started to melt, forming the
mountains and valleys, leaving sand, gravel and boulders on
the
800-900 year old granite. The cave, or Helleren, which has
given
the farm its name, Heddan, has probably served as shelter for
the
first hunters and gatherers entering the area in the iron age.
The
first inhabitants appeared in the migration period 300-600 AD
and
from 1646 history of the people at Heddan is recorded in
writing.
