O miejscu:
Plac Strzegomski jest przykładem zmian w obrazie Wrocławia na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. Dawniej kojarzył się jedynie z szarym żelbetowym bunkrem. Wybudowany został on w roku 1942 jako jeden z kilku powstałych w tym czasie schronów przeciwlotniczych dla ludności cywilnej. Obecnie bunkier zmienił kolor na kremowy, a na jego froncie pojawił się mural Stanisława Drożdża pt. Klepsydra. Od września 2011 r. w bunkrze ma siedzibę Muzeum Współczesne Wrocław (http://muzeumwspolczesne.pl)
W okolicy placu zobaczymy nowoczesne biurowce Silver Forum, Green Towers oraz nowa siedzibę Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Teatralnej im. Ludwika Solskiego.
Jednak najbardziej spektakularnym projektem jest "Pociąg do nieba". To artystyczny projekt Andrzeja Jarodzkiego, który łączy w sobie najlepsze cechy, jakie Wrocław wypracował na przestrzeni wieków. To przestrzeń dla idei, wielości znaczeń, niezwykłości w codzienności. Rzeźba miejska. Pędzaca ku niebu lokomotywa Andrzeja Jarodzkiego, wyłaniająca się na pl. Strzegomskim we Wrocławiu, to niewątpliwie przykład genius loci stolicy Dolnego Sląska.

Strzegomski Square is an example of changes in the image of Wroclaw in recent years. Formerly was associated only with gray reinforced concrete bunker. It was built in 1942 as one of several shelters created in the war time for the civilians. Currently bunker changed the color to creamy, and a mural "Hourglass" by Stanislaw Drozdz appeared on its front.
