This cache is placed at one of our favorite places anywhere around here. T has lived near here for 30+ years and did not visit this place until a local church had a Vacation Bible School and T, M, and W attended.
PLEASE be careful when hunting for this cache. Near the headwaters of this creek is a significant underwater dropoff. Scuba enthusiasts have been known to drop in here to explore the caves underneath the cliff. DO NOT allow children near the rock face without a hand being held.
Feel free to bring a picnic and spend a little quality time in this wonderful shaded spot. Members of this church are aware there is a cache here, but do not know where it is. Avoid hunting for this cache on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, or any time after dark.
Coordinates were shot with a Garmin etrex Venture HC with over 300 measurements averaged. However, due to the surrounding terrain, the accuracy was only 25.9 feet. Feel free to provide more accurate coordinates if you get them. Cell service is almost nonexistent up here in the Cove, pre-download or bring the good, old GPSr.
