This is a traditional cache at the posted coordinates. There is a bonus puzzle if you choose to do it. To do the puzzle, you must be observant while finding this cache and the other two in this series.

Welcome to the Land of the Lost. You are about to observe some amazing species from the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. Chaka will be your guide on this adventure. Please follow his directions closely.

To get the bonus cache, you will have to search the area for parts of the coordinates. They are here, but there are also two decoys. Be sure to listen to your guide!

It would be helpful if you study before you depart, or have away to open your study guide in the field. A helpful reference page is listed under the “Related Web Page.”

Be sure to bring binoculars, or a camera with a good zoom lens.

For your safety, please do not feed the species. While many only eat plants, a few would make a light snack out of you!

This cache was inspired by Drew’s African Photo Safari, by Drew8.

This cache is in an area of the Sam Houston Trails Park, which is part of Campion Trails. There is no closer parking for this cache off of Valley View, unless you have a way to cross the Trinity River and climb the banks.

You must actually sign the log in order to log it as a find online.

Please do not replace my cache if you cannot find it. If you can't find it, log a DNF, and I will check on it and maintain it as soon as I can.
