O granito é unha roca que se forma a grandes
profundidades á partires do magma. O longo da história xeolóxica
estes granitos foron empuxados cara a superficie e desprovistos
pola erosión de todo recubrimiento, á vez que os elementos atacam a
pedra especialmente nos bordes, polo que o final dos bloques
adquiren formas arredondadas.

Pica, or Pedras Cabaleiras are huge stones
placed in equilibrium as a result of alteration of the granite
exposed to a long weathering by rain and wind. Granite is a rock
that forms at great depths from the magma. The long geological
history of these granites were pushed toward the surface by erosion
and devoid of any coating, while the erosion elements (wind and
rain) especially in the stone edges, so the final blocks acquires
rounded shapes.

Aconsello que deixe o automóbil no waypoint
"Aparcadoiro" e faga a pé de 2,7 km ata a caché. Para os que sigan
de automóbil todo o terreo, poden subir ata máis preto polo mesmo
carril.
ROUTE
I advise you to leave your car at the waypoint
"Parking Area" and make the walk of 4,32 Miles to the cache. If you
drive a 4x4 vehicle, you can go to the cache by the same track.
