Geocache Description:

This cache is in memory of my sister, Beverly Ann Schroeder, who died of a massive heart attack on September 15, 2010 at the young age of 51. She and her family were unaware that back pain and nausea were signs of a heart attack. She thought that she had the flu and would feel better in a couple days. This is my effort to help make people aware of the signs of heart attack in WOMEN.

In women the heart attack warning signs are:
Pain or discomfort in the center of the chest.
Pain or discomfort in other areas of the upper body, including the arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach.
Other symptoms, such as a shortness of breath, breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea, or light-headedness.

Women are less likely than men to believe they're having a heart attack and more likely to delay in seeking emergency treatment. If you feel heart attack symptoms, do not delay. Your family will benefit most if you seek fast treatment.
