Not so long ago, the folks who see neither trees nor forest had planned to build a large hotel in this area. Thankfully, through some miracle of public concern, it is being developed as park land instead with several trails. There are a couple cool caches further up in the hills. We thought it would be good to place a large travel bug hotel here in honor of the hotel that never was... or at least that never was around here.
We would like this to become a reliable place to launch and drop travel bugs. We will keep up with the log to make sure that the inventory listed reflects what you can expect to find in the cache. Please grab a bug, drop a bug, or both. But please, please log and move what you grab!
There is also cool swag for trading.
You can park near the old Aquarena Springs hotel and walk into this area. The trails actually start a ways in, up behind an area with a garage and maintainance vehicles. No need to bushwack or walk with moving cars.
