EasyPeasey #1 Bridge Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The first of the series of 8 caches is hidden at the Bridge over Peasey Beck. PLEASE REMOVE AND RETURN CAREFULLY - You'll see why we mention this! This is a fairly standard micro, not a disco (not disguised as something else)
Just a little addition to the listing: In winter 2015 the bridge was damaged in the floods and the road closed for 6 months, the cache remained in position but disabled for most of this time. In July-August 2016 the repairs began, we expected the cache to disappear during the repairs, how wrong we were; one of the workmen must have been a cacher as the container was found and put permanently in the bridge as part of the repairs as you will discover!
The cache is now I suppose immortal!!!
Parking for this set of 8 caches is available in the village of Endmoor. There is a small amount of parking in the village, which is all roadside. The lower part of Dove Nest Lane near the bowling green has some roadside parking available, but please park responsibly.
Start out from EasyPeasey#1 with these O.S. waypoints to aim for, using public footpaths and lanes. Kaker Mill (right at the monkey puzzle tree), Preston Patrick Hall, Camsgill, Whetstone, Black Yeats, Preston Patrick Church, Bobbin Mill Lane and Peasey Beck Footpath.
You WILL come across stoney lanes, livestock (and what they leave behind), mud, thorns, nettles and a short walk on a BUSY road.
