This is part of the 2.5 mile walking geocaching and hiking trail. This area gives you a view of the woods. Not sure if the golf course will make to this area but anything is possible.
This cache is the closest to the former memorial left to Richard Scott McFarland, a Special Forces Medic who fell in VietNam. The memorial was removed by the LCFPD, but a geocacher with a persistent memory asked them to find the plaque. It is now being held pending reinstallation somewhere on the golf course. It had been placed on the course by friends of Medic McFarland.
