Cache hidden in the beautiful Caribou National Forest. The major stream in this valley is Diamond Creek. Easy access from the road.
In 1966 my great grandfather brought his kids here for the first time as part of a hunting trip. The camping area just to the east of where the cache is hidden, was where they camped for the night. It was so full of dead fall that they did not need to look for firewood for several years. The family has now been coming there yearly. This is the 45th annual diamond creek family reunion. Great Grandpa passed away 9 years ago to the day we placed the cache. We were up there for the reunion, and wanted to honor him with a cache in his name in the area he cleared out 45 years ago. Enjoy the cache.
The cache is a .50 caliber ammo box.
Please enjoy the beautiful scenery. It is our little piece of heaven on earth.
