This is the second cache placed by SSquare. It was placed In memory of our four-legged caching partner. Hope you like it! The container housing is within plain site. Beware of possible muggles both in the immediate vicinity and from viewing afar. The cache has been seeded to start with several swag items for trade and a few Souders geocoins.
In January 2011 our beloved Rottweiler and caching partner, Rembrandt (Remy), passed away. We buried him at a pet cemetery called A Bit of Heaven, which is a family-owned and operated business established in 1996. There are not very many pet cemeteries in the Houston area and not many people are aware that they exist as an alternative for memorializing your loved ones.
Our geocoins, which were minted when we first started geocaching, incorporated "Remy" and whenever possible he was along for the challenge and the thrill of the hunt. Two versions exist, one gold and the other silver.
On January 24, 2004 Rembrandt received his CGC Certificate at an AKC sponsored event.
Original inventory: Souders Geocoins, Rottweiler figurine, Puppy Tweets, log book, pen, pencil, Yip Yap container, SMP bone, some pet related business cards and refrigerator magnets, Rottweiler coaster, bumper sticker.
