General:
The cache type is a traditional micro cache and it should be an easy to find, maybe not. Here you have a view on the Blesbok Spruit, which runs through the Marievale Nature Reserve. If you want please keep an eye on this river for any mine water contamination.
During the rainy season it could be challenge to drive in this area. Preferably you need a high clearance vehicle. In rainy weather you will need a 4x4. During the dry season you can do this with a normal vehicle but you need to take it slow. If in doubt please stop and walk to the cache. Keep your eyes open for kids and quad bikes and for any crazy drivers. During the rainy season you could find many off-roaders in the area testing their vehicles. Also keep an eye open for any snakes while you search for this one.
At this location you will find an old weir in the river build by the mining company called Nigel Sub (Pty) Ltd in 1930. We will modify the cache at a later stage to an underwater one. So now it is the time to find this one. You will also find examples of possible gold bearing rock in this area.
