Geocache Description:

This Cache is located near a small scientific whale research institution in Henningsvær. The staff is recording the "ocean sounds" to analyze the language of different whales like Orcas and Pilot Whales. In recent days, the center at the harbour was closed and is now located on Sauøya, an island next to Henningsværs main island. From here, you have a lovely view to the port of Henningsvær as well. Please take the cache and log elsewhere to prevent muggling.

Thanks to all >700 geocachers who logged carefully!!! ############################################## NORSK (thanks to Angående for the translation!) ############################################## Cachen ligger i nærheten av en liten vitenskapelig hval forskningsinstitusjon i Henningsvær . Personalet spillier inn " havets lyder " for å analysere språket til ulike hvaler som for eksempel spekkhogger og grindhval . I de siste dagene , ble senteret på havnen stengt, og ligger nå på Sauøya , en øy ved siden av Henningsværs hovedøya. Herfra har du en nydelig utsikt til havnen i Henningsvær også. Vennligst ta cachen med deg og logg andre steder for å hindre muggling . 25 juni 2016 : femte fødselsdag " The Sound of the Ocean " .
