Hey, Cable Guy! Mystery Cache

Fee&me: Our first 3 caches were all placed two years ago and have done surprisingly well (7, 12 and 13 Favorites respectively). We're sad to archive Hey, Cable Guy! first because it's literally so close to home: the key box hidden in front of our house and the padlocked faux cable box in back.

This cache revealed to us some unexpected truths:
(1) Lots of geocachers hate Unknowns (even when it's not a puzzle)
(2) Lots of geocachers hate projections
(3) Lots of suburbanites hate getting close to private property

Nevertheless, we might try a similar set-up at our next home, because we sure had fun meeting mcgronin, Sporangia, kcote, CoveSC, brigspa, sixtywattbulb, lostinthegarden, AlbertRutter, SigsPig, NIM97, OLM2000, bluelamb03, Falach-fead and 3-Bearss while they found the cache!

Geocache Description:

Hey, Cable Guy! Yeah... you!

Put yourself in this role so you can walk around this exposed area like you're supposed to be there. You will not set foot on private property while completing this cache, but sometimes people do feel a sense of ownership over communal space.

At the starting coordinates you'll find a hidden key box. Grab it quickly and slip it into your pocket. Standing nonchalantly on the sidewalk (or program it beforehand), project a waypoint at 134° and 29m. This is the trailhead. Walk over to it in your best "utility worker" strut.

Again, standing on the sidewalk at the entrance to the path (or programmed beforehand), whistle distractedly to yourself while you adjust your electronic equipment. Project a waypoint at 019° and 48m and saunter on over. There you will find a lock that can be opened with the key in your pocket.

Protect the key box location by NOT searching for it while neighbourhood children are in the vicinity. Don't forget to replace the key box on your way out!

Free parking on nearby streets. The trail will be slushy/icy in winter, and muddy/wet in spring or after rain.

The neighbour nearest the cache location is expecting a visit from the Cable Guy. Initial swag includes some useful items for your toolbox.
