The co-ordinates take you to outside 'Gowan Bank' the house where Edith Holden wrote 'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady' in 1906.

To find the cache you will need to visit the listed co-ordinates and note the house number for Gowan Bank. The cache is located within 250 metres of the house.
Edith Holden (1871-1920) lived most of her life around Warwickshire and had a childhood home in Acocks Green, but it was in Olton that she produced the book that was to become the best selling 'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady' when it was posthumously published in 1977.
The book was a facsimile reproduction of a nature diary which she named 'Nature Notes for 1906'. As an artist and botanist she filled the pages with delightful paintings of the flora and fauna she saw on her walks and cycling trips around Olton and the Warwickshire countryside.
She writes about and illustrates the changes in nature through the seasons, often describing her trips to Elmdon Park, one of her favourite haunts. Her diary managed to capture a resurging interest in nature and a simpler life of times gone by.
To find the cache you will need to note the house number for Gowan Bank and do the following, simple calculation:
N 52 (H x 0.7435) + H
W 001 (H x 2.2432) + H
Where H = the house number.
(Note: You will have to round up one of these numbers if you want the traditional 3 decimal places)
The cache itself is a small pot with a snap on lid, big enough to take a few small items.
