Chelsea City Manager John Hanifan waa the impetus for our 2nd CITO
event, at Chelsea's Timbertown Park. With one park left to CITO, we
figure we might as well go ahead and create an event for it!
We'll meet at the Veterans Memorial Park parking lot at 1:45 PM to
distribute garbage bags (bring those grabbers if you've got them!)
and to split up into groups to go out and conquer the grounds. We
estimate that clean-up should run from 2 PM to 4 PM, but of course
you're welcome to leave before that!
Young geocachers are of course welcome... there's playground
equipment, including a giant wooden ship to explore. Take a moment
to stroll the nature trails, visit the memorial, and look for the
handful of caches located in this park.
We'll supply the bags, drinks, and donuts; we'll also have some
trackables for discovery and an area for anyone who wishes to pick
up, drop off, or trade trackables.
