Geocache Description:

To the north of the pretty village of Barrington is a pathway that runs north up Cracknow Hill with a small area to park at the south end.

Locally known as Whole Way, this Public Byway continues to Halton and should be noted for the ancient hedgerows bordering it's flanks. Some 19th century coppicing is evident and among the rich variety of species is an abundance of blackberry brambles. Fauna to look out for include hare, deer rabbit, Green Woodpecker, several types of owl and prey birds and the ubiquitous wood pigeon!

The cache is well hidden and will need to be carefully replaced in the same spot once found. Bring your own pen.
