I was in the area with my family and a visitor from Illinois -- Xsnickers. He is my nephew and an avid geocacher. On the way down to The Narrows I hid this cache, and he found it on the way back up. We had forgotten to bring a writing implement so he signed the log in mud and spit with a large "X". Thus the name.
The hike to this spot is a little less than two miles, and I hope you continue down the slope to check out The Narrows. And possibly insane kayakers!
