This Cache is was hidden by trallali and ElectroSmogTherapy when they found this beautiful and impressive spot in the Göreme Tarihî Millî Parkı and recognized the lack of caches in that area.
Terrain is steep and rocky sometimes but there is no need to leave the paths at any time.
Starting your trip:
Leave Göreme in southeast direction and pass the Göreme Open Air Museum. As soon as you reach the road D302 from Ürgüp to Nevşehir turn left heading to Ürgüp. Turn left again at the "Crossing of Decision" and drive your vehicle to the end of the road and bury it at the waypoint known as "Grave of the Cachemobile" which is also a famous sunset point of the area.
Searching the Cache:
| Descend down from the "Grave of the Cachemobile" into the Gorge of Eternal Peril. |
As soon as you reach the "Gate of Death" you have to answer the following questions to stride through the gate:
- What is your name? (N)
- What is your quest? (Q)
- How many gatekeepers block your way through the gate? (G)
(If you are not sure about the number of keepers then ask all of them if they are talking about African or European swallows and the problem will vanish into thin air.)

Proceed your way down until you reach the "Stairway to Heaven". How many steps (S) has the ladder at the bottom of the stairway? |

Now bear against misfortune, climb the ladder and the stairway and betake yourself to
N 38° 39.(198+S)' E 34° 51.(562+G)'.
Stop there, and enjoy the gorgeous and beautiful view.
Ensure you will not to tumble down into the chasm! Finally bend down, grab the Holy Grail and sign the log book.
Return or extend:
If you enjoyed your way up to now then you can extend your trip by another 2 - 3 hours and do the hike down to the village to Çavuşin. If you do so don't miss visiting the "Point of no Return" and ensure you did the right planning of getting home and fetching back your buried vehicle.
