This one should be easy. It's located in a beautiful spot with a poignant story.
In June 1985, an Air India jumbo jet, travelling from Montreal to Delhi crashed into the sea off Ireland's south west coast. All 329 crew and passengers perished. This was the worst aviation related terrorist event before September 11. The governments of Ireland, India and Canada have established a small memorial garden, where the anniversary of the crash is marked each year on 23rd June. The garden is located between Durrus and Ahakista. It's clearly marked, and there is space for car parking. The location is tranquil and beautiful. This is not a wheelchair-friendly cache. The last few metres involve steep steps and a pebble beach. December 2020: I have replaced the cache, as the previous one had water damage. Please re-seal the box when you've finished.
