Geocache Description:

On coastal footpath.

Trebah was acquired in 1831 by the Fox family, who built Glendurgan, next door! Trebah was first laid out by Charles Fox who was very meticulous about the exact position of every tree.
During WW11 Trebah as used for military purposes and the assault on Omaha Beach in Normandy was launched from the beach here.
In 1981 Tony and Eira Hibbard bought Trebah as a retirement home. As the gardens had fallen into decline, they were persuaded to restore the gardens to their former glory.
